 Information communication technology refers to all types of technologies. Information communication technology is a combination of information and communication technology. Information communication technology is used to handle communication processes such as broadcast media, telecommunication, transmission system etc. Interaction between devices and people are growing rapidly.

All organizations need to provide their employees and customers with greater access to system. Information communication technology provides benefits to users for messaging, video, audio and calendaring etc. 

Information communication technology in Society

It is used in every aspect of life. Information communication technology has enabled the people to interact quickly and effectively. Mobile phones, computers, laptops and internet have become a central part of society.

Disadvantage of ICT is that older generation does not know about technologies. Many people are not take advantage of available technology due to poverty, lack of access to technology etc.

Information communication technology in Education

In older education system, information communication technology has not been implemented. There are different reasons for the absence of technology in education. High cost associated with implementing these technologies may prevent schools, colleges from using them in classroom.

Now in education system, information communication technology has been implemented. Teachers give online lectures to students by using information communication technology. Students can also learn many things from the internet.

Why We Use Computer Technology in Education

Educators in any society can make an important role. Teachers  must use new teaching and learning opportunities. They must teach students using new technologies so the students will be comfortable while using technologies.

Technology are play important role in every aspect of life. Technology must be used to enhance students achievement. Computers, laptops, digital media and other technologies can capture students attention. Computers and laptops also can provide powerful opportunities for teaching and learning.
