Web browser

  Web browser is a software program. It is used to view web pages. Web browser are also used for displaying and accessing websites on the internet. Web browser act as an interface between user and internet. Browsers are also known as Web clients. Browser is included in the operating system of mobile devices or computer. For example, Internet Explorer is included with Windows. Internet Explorer is already in a computer when you buy.

Web browser takes you anywhere on the internet. When you use Web browser, you can see anything such as text, images, videos, news from anywhere in the world. It can understand HTML. Different Web browsers are available but some of the common and popular ones include Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera and Mozilla Firefox etc.

Google Chrome web Browser developed by Google in 2008. Google Chrome is free web browser and it is available for Windows and Mac OS. It is an open source browser for accessing the World Wide Web. Google Chrome is available for mobile devices and computers. It is free to download .

Internet Explorer

Internet Explore was released in 1995 by Microsoft. Internet Explore is a free web browser. Internet Explore allows the user to access online marketing, banking over the internet. Internet Explore is default browser for computers. It is also available for Linux and Mac OS. 

Opera

It was developed by Opera software and released on April 1, 1995. Opera is a free web browser. This browser is used on mobile devices and computers. Opera web browser can be downloaded and installed. It is fast and smaller in size. The popular features of Opera are speed, pop up control, voice control and tabbed browsing.

Safari 

Safari web browser developed by Apple in 2003. It is available for personal computers, Apple iPhones and iPads. By using Safari browser, users can browse bookmark favourites, websites and open different websites in tabs. 

Mozilla Firefox

It was developed by Mozilla Corporation in 2004. It is a free open source web browser. This browser can be downloaded and installed from the internet. Mozilla Firefox for computers running Windows, Linux and Mac OS. This browser has advanced security options that protect your system from malware and spyware.

The user can browse different websites by using a web browser. Web browsers provide different buttons such as forward, back, refresh etc.

Browser provide the facility to read or send e-mail.

Tabbed Browsing

It allows the user to open multiple pages in the same browser window. Every webpage is loaded in a separate tab. The user can easily move between multiple pages.

Web browser also provide the facility to store favorite website in a list.

Web browser also provide the facility to print the web pages.
